The
long-awaited job fair for the 1000 Islands Charity Casino took
place Feb 22 - 23, 2002

The
first stop for empoyment candidates was this large tent on the theatre
parking lot.
People
here were grouped together to wait to see a 15 minute movie in the
Boulevard cinema about Ontario casinos.
People
then proceeded to the second building where they could examine posters
and information on the many job descriptions. Job appplications
were filled out here as well.
Third
stop for many was this building, where a 15 minute general interview
took place.
Approximately
1300 people had passed through the first tent by 4pm on Friday afternoon.
Even more people are expected to turn out on Saturday.
